Last year for Kiah’s 2nd birthday we went ALL out, a little too much when I think back at it haha. So this year we went with a more mellow party, but mellow doesn’t mean mama can’t design up a cute dessert table 😉
Although black and red are not my top choices in color – I really wanted Kiah to be involved in the design process and create something that mirrors him and his current interests. I asked him what he wants the party to be and showed him some different photos and he kept saying “choo choo” – so it was settled, the theme was going to be choo choo..his current favorite thing in the world! And Hiro his favorite choo choo became the inspo for the birthday.
Kiah had a blast on his birthday and didn’t want to leave! The location was perfect and the kids had tons to play with which was the main priority for me for this birthday. I really wanted Kiah to enjoy his day and be with his close friends.
I’m so happy with the way that things worked out. I spent ages perfecting the party look, I wanted everything to be perfect. From the birthday cake to the Custom Paper Plates we got. I really wanted to make sure that Kiah had a special 2nd birthday!
Thank you to all the vendors who contributed and were able to make Kiah’s 2nd birthday so special!
