Kiah and Eliott are 32 hours apart and have been besties since birth so we figured a joint birthday was a must! Parastou (Eliott’s mom) and I worked together to put this moonrise kingdom inspired camp birthday together – it was fun and at times stressful (note: don’t leave your DIY’s till the week of!) but we loved collaborating and making this birthday come to life! We wanted to put a unique twist on the typical camp theme and add a lot of fun colors and designs to make it pop. Let’s be honest the birthday was more for us to have fun with than the babies – they didn’t really understand anything and were quite overwhelmed with the magnitude of people haha! We worked with some pretty amazing vendors (listed below) that helped bring our vision and ideas to life!
Although the day was a bit chaotic with the amount of people (120!), the set up and clean up and the babies being so overwhelmed – it truly was a memorable day I will always love looking back on. We got to share such a special milestone with our friends and family and celebrate the fact that the boys are officially toddlers (that part is a little hard for me to celebrate! jk, im happy 🙂 )!
My sister put together this video of the birthday with her iphone footage – thanks sanna!
